My Favorite Vacation
In the summer of 2010 we went on our first cruise. First we drove to Florida with my parents and grandparents. When we arrived, we stayed in Fort Lauderdale for two days. The first day in Fort Lauderdale we swam at the beach and the pool. The second day we went to Miami to visit some family there and have dinner with them before going back to Fort Lauderdale. The next day we drove to the port where we were to get on our cruise boat called the Celebrity where there was a water slide on board. Our cruise was to last three days and two nights. After a day out in the water and lots of fun on the water slide, we arrived at Freeport, Bahamas. We then boarded a boat with about 30 other people and went out in to the ocean to snorkel. While snorkeling we saw many fish and towards the end of our snorkeling tour we were surrounded by many small jelly fish. We each had our own underwater cameras so we could take pictures of everything we wanted to under the water. After our snorkeling tour we went back to shore, we ate a big buffet that they had waiting for us. After eating we rented a huge water trampoline and jumped on that and into the water for a while. Then thunder clouds started to roll in so we had to cut our tour of the Bahamas a little short and get back to the ship before we were stuck out in the rain. Once we boarded the boat we headed back to Fort Lauderdale which took about a day and then stopped to have dinner before going to our hotel. The next day we went to Orlando where we spent all day at Disney World and rode many rides including The Hulk which was the scariest ride I have ever ridden. After a full week of fun and excitement we finally had to go back home. This ended up being my favorite vacation ever!
